What?! You're changing your life?!

Yup, that's right. I, Em, am on a 'self-improvement' spree. My plan is to change my life for the better and I've made of list of how I'm going to do it.

During my vacation this year, I read the book 'The Next Thing on My List' which is about a woman who sets out to finish a '20 Things to do before my 25th Birthday' list. It's a really good book which really inspired me to make a list of my own. One day, when 'google-ing' popular bucket list selections, I stumbled upon 43things.com. This site lets you make your own list of things you want to do in your life and keep track of your progress. I took this as a sign and joined up.

As I started to add things to my list, I realized I needed to set some rules for myself. I decided the list would only have 25 things on it at all times. As I complete one thing, I can add something new in its place. For the most part, I would try to only work on one or two goals at a time. Thus, my life list was created.

Now you're probably wondering: 'Is make a blog on your list?' Nope, its not. (In fact, theres a link in the sidebar to go look at my list.) I decided to make a blog about it because one; I wanted to share my experience with family and friends. Two; I like to write and three; I like to talk about myself. Put all of those things together and this seems like a good idea. I'm planning to use my blog to post updates on my progress, troubles I've faced, and the rewards I get from crossing something off the list.
